It's not a routine Trevor, there are reasons for it. I can't get into details on a public chatting service, such as this. I'll just say they don't pressure you to leave immediately after last call. And that's awesome. Every other bar will kick you out at 5 after.
For the record, I don't always go there for last call. I'm just saying that it's the place that lots of people go to every night between 1:30 and 1:45.
