This will probably revolutionize the internet into exactly what is desired. Imagine a real time place for group or private chats where you can instantly upload photos to create a photo album, play games against or with others. It also has a timeline memory of who posted what, when and where in the conversation.
The fact that it is open source, just makes it have unlimited potential. It's the start of the next internet. Bing might be a more helpful method to organizing search engine results, but Microsoft continues to be a step behind attempting to reinvent the wheel.
The video is approximately 1:20:00 but it's worth your time to see the future..

It won't be coming out until "later 2009".

That just blew my mind. I can't wait to see how this is adopted and used throughout the net. It has so much potential and since it's open-sourced hopefully it catches on and is implemented quickly.
I wonder what kind of apps will be ready for when it launches? I have a feeling some of the things people will come up with will be a game-changer for sure.
Personally I can't wait to implement stuff like this into my own business!

Yes, you were right. It looks like it'll revolutionize the internet and more or less be a central hub to everything that you do. I can't wait for it to be released, but it'll take some time until it is built up with applications.
I concur

I watched the entire hour long demo and was extremely impressed. I'm thinking wave will change the face of the internet as we know it. Wow. I can't wait until it comes out.
